Almost all girls dream of getting married and finding “the one”. Some realized their dreams while others got their hearts broken. We all know Pops and Martin’s love story.. from best friends to lovers to enemies and now friends. Now they are finally reunited again..but this time they have both grown and learned their lesson. Their story has not yet ended though..in fact it still has a long way to go..will the “Philippines’ Concert King and Queen” live happily ever after? who knows? One thing’s for sure, last Valentine’s day, two souls sang a perfect harmony..One Amore Time.

Check out what we did for their intro video that was shown during their concert. Being in a full house production was no easy challenge because it was a really different world compared to our usually wedding events. Everything needs to be considered, the lighting condition, the actors, the props..everything..But thankfully we were able to pull it off. A big thanks to Direk Rowell Santiago, to both Pops and Martin, to all the staff and crew and most especially to our very lovely producer Mae Vinluan-Dolonius . This is only the beginning… :) Enjoy everyone!

Week after week we have been giving you wedding treats and as much as we love doing our job sometimes it hits us to try something NEW..something DIFFERENT..something MORE! So, when Dave offered us a great opportunity to showcase our wildest imagination, we grabbed it and took it to the next level. And since this is a non wedding video, we pushed ourselves to the extreme by doing some radical poses for the models to represent each element; Earth, Wind, Fire and Water as Alvin played with the colors during post editing. Experience one of our MOST FASHIONABLE video ever, all thanks to Panay News! “Walang Katulad!” Cheers! :)

Hi guys! We just want to share one of the most ambitious productions we have done so far. This time, it’s not a wedding but we were tasked to do a teaser video and a documentary of what was, what is, and what Xavier University will be since they are celebrating their 75th year anniversary this year.

Unlike weddings where we are the ones usually catching up to capture your moments during the special day, this time it was all directed and planned and what a challenge it was but it was also a breather since we seldom do this except during prenups :D

To the people of Cagayan de Oro especially the XU peeps, we thank you so much for the very warm accommodation you gave us during our first stay in Mindanao. Hoping to see you guys again! ^_^

We won third at the first ever Sony Wedding Video Competition which was held during the WPPP (Wedding and Portrait Photographers of the Philippines) Photocongress in Manila last October 22-25.
It is truly an honor since there were 36 entries from the best in the industry.
Here’s our entry:

Anyway, would you guys wanna know how we got in?
Here’s the story¦
It was October 17 when we went to Manila to shoot scenes for a corporate AVP of one of our clients in PSSC located in Diliman, Quezon City. We met up with Shierdan Pamintuan a fellow videographer based in Manila as he was the one tasked to cover the event.
During breaks, we tried to view our raw footage of Ruby and Magnus and gathered some ideas for our entry. After the event we headed to our hotel and started selecting scenes but we slept early since we have to leave for Laguna at about 5am the next day to continue shooting at several different locations.

We found ourselves at the middle of Laguna lake shooting a time lapse of the beautiful sunset as the last task of the day for our client.

We then continued editing our entry at the staff house of our client the whole night but we didn’t stay up too late since we have to leave again early morning the next day.
It was already October 19, one day before the deadline of entries when we hasted up the shooting to finish everything up early since we still have to look for a hotel. It was the same day when Glorietta 2 in Makati exploded. We finished shooting at about 3pm and traveled from our present location to Makati to check in at the Charter House located near Glorietta! Haha! We just love danger! When we arrived, people were still in a state of shock and the police were all over the place. When we got to the hotel, we got the suite room since there were three of us (Alvin, Fiel and Rex which was the representative of our client).

The video was done at about 2am in the morning of the 20th of October. After transferring the video file to miniDV at the studio of one of our videographer friends we then proceeded to Cubao to submit our entry at the office of WPPP at we got there at about 12 noontime. After that, we were able to breathe in freely as we were the 34th to submit. After that, we went to Greenhills to buy some cheap stuff for ourselves and went to Glorietta to buy some goodies as pasalubong for our loved ones in Iloilo and find out that Glorietta 2 was closed and there were only a few people roaming the halls of the mall.

It was then a job well done for us since we finished shooting for our client ahead of schedule and we finished editing our entry for Sony on the day of the deadline.
