Another first for Mayad Studios…it’s not new to you that we do Iloilo and Bacolod weddings ..but now we introduce to you our very own first Boracay wedding. And mind you we had a blast! Mixing work with pleasure ..it didn’t came to us as a surprise that this is one of our most favorite wedding (working in Boracay ba naman!) ..Also the couple made all the shooting, editing and running around so easy for us since they were all in a sunshine mode..happy and smiling…not to mention all those kulitan moments (and it shows sa video). We love working with them so much, even though some of the guests thought at first that we were just photography students or OJTs. It was such a bliss…and because of that, we want to bring back the love we felt (thank you Tisha and Donald) and share it with you guyz by letting you watch the video we made especially for them on their wedding day. Oh we almost forgot to mention..what made this wedding extra special is because of the sweetness we found in both of them. Talk about the most challenging proposal done in Palawan.

-a short version of the story by Donald (the groom)-
i got us plane tickets to Busuanga but we boarded two separate planes going there. i boarded an earlier flight. but i had prepared a number of letters for her to read while she’s enroute to the resort (ala-Amazing Race). she never knew that she was going to go to board a plane and go to Palawan until that day that my friend picked her up. all she knew was that we were going to have a short stay in a beach in Batangas.

so my friend picked her up early in the morning and brought her to the airport…the letter would slowly unfold to her what next thing to do and what to expect (go to the airport, where the plane will take her, what resort she would be in, what rides will take her from one leg to another (but of course the resort staff would accompany her all the way)). and she also never had to chance to talk with me anymore that morning because i turned my cellphone off so she can concentrate on my letters alone and give the element of surprise.

finally, she gets to the resort…but still she doesn’t find me in the
room. she has to board another boat to get to the secluded island.
once there, she finds me…after soo many hours of travel. i greet
her…she then gets the proposal of her life. (she also doesn’t
know that there was a video cam while i kneeled in front of her to propose)-
