It’s really heartwarming to receive such great compliments after a hard day’s work. Here’s an email we got the other day that we would LOVE to share..and trust me our hearts melted like popsicles in a hot summer day. We love you Richmond and Jocelle :D

“Hi guys!!

I just wanna share that i can never get tired of watching the SDE!! I love it so much! We had a small 2nd reception in Manila and we showed it to the guests and of course, they were all raving about it!! It’s really fantastic! Richmond and I are forever grateful for the great work you guys did!! Thank you so much! And you made remembering our perfect wedding much more meaningful!! sigh… sorry mejo high parin ako. haha.grabe not to be even more cheesy, but I dont think you guys know how much you guys do for every couple that you make vidoes for!! the work you do can never be just a wedding video… its really love. I super mean it! A thousand times thanks!!

Jocelle Evangelista”

Let me stress out that this was our first time covering an Iglesia ni Cristo wedding and so we did all necessary preparations in order to bring out all the best emotions even though there might be some restrictions. Thankfully, people from Iglesia ni Cristo were so nice to us that they made us shoot whatever we want but with discretion of course. Plus they have a really pro coordinator by their side to help them up. Amanda is “the bomb”! (quote from the couple themselves.) ;p

Tip: We’ve always wanted to try the “all glide track shots” intro and so finally, we did it through Richmond and Jocelle’s SDE. Since the song was not really fast nor too slow, we made sure to cover the most natural audios we could ever gather to really feel the reality of what happened that day.

Hope you guys enjoy this one!

“Oh, how we danced on the night we were wed
We vowed our true love though a word wasn’t said
The world was in bloom, there were stars in the skies
Except for the few that were there in your eyes.
The night seemed to fade into blossoming dawn
The sun shone anew but the dance lingered on
Could we but relive that sweet moment sublime
We’d find that our love is unaltered by time.”

- lyrics to “The Anniversary Waltz,” composed by Dubin/Frankl

Tip : Sometimes in order to get the best video, editing alone is not enough. Videographers like us also need to plan out some shots in order to achieve and compliment the editing of the video. Jovie and Joey’s SDE is one great example. Since we chose another fun song to accompany their video, Alvin already had some ideas on how to shoot some of the parts of the wedding. Like the zoom in and out during the vows, exit of the church and even other transitions like the ring shots. Although, we must not forget to anticipate things that might happen and if they do we must take that shot. Take 2:21 for example. If you still don’t get what we mean..check out our latest SDE. To Jovie and Joey, Congratulations!!! We know you’ve been planning this wedding for quite some time. You, your friends and your family did a splendid job. Good work guys. Cheers!

Manila was still in a gloomy state days before the wedding of Jill and Aaron. And so Jill specifically requested that our song choice for their SDE should be fun in order to chase the bad vibes away. True enough, during their preps, so much laughter filled the entire house. Make sure to catch Aaron’s really really cute facial reactions as Jill walks down the aisle (1:40 - 1:45). :p

Tip : In order to fulfill the happy feel of the entire SDE, we made sure that there were lots of camera movements. Luckily for us, we found some neat little shoe collections of Jill’s mom. We used her collections as props for our rings and shoes shots. Also to add more spice for the video, we included some wacky pictorial shots, both during preps and after ceremony.

September 26 was probably one of the worst dates to remember. We all heard the news, Ondoy struck the Luzon area as if there was no tomorrow. Luckily for our couple Pamela and Andrew, there was indeed a better tomorrow for them. The night before their wedding I was texting Andrew, and he said to me.. “Rain or shine tuloy ang kasal ha” so I just replied “we will all pray for the best weather”. And God answered our prayers. The rain did stop the following day. During preps there were a lot of Ondoy stories shared especially from our co-suppliers that made us feel blessed. Blessed because we were alive, healthy, dry, and most important of all, we were able to work that day with two amazing persons, Pamela and Andrew. Everyone was just so happy to see these two tie the knot. Hope you enjoy their SDE :)
